Back in the late 80s, when I was still in high school, I bought Joe Weider's Bodybuilding System, which at the time was a kit that consisted of a manual outlining Joe Weider's training techniques, his Mr. Olympia contests, as well as mass-gaining diet tips. Ever since, weight training has become more than just a passion, its become a way of life. No matter where I go, whether moving to a new place or traveling on vacation, finding a gym has become a top priority. This love for fitness ultimately propelled me to share my experience with others. Whether new or professional, I wanted to give back to a community that gave so much to me over the years.

My first foray into the business world of bodybuilding was looking into opening a gym in Orlando, Florida. I was thirty five at the time, but a turn of events had me pursue opening a store instead. I wanted to help as many people as possible achieve their dream, whether it was to open a gym or set up a home gym.

The sheer offering for both home and commercial gym equipment has rapidly multiplied, allowing even the smallest of rooms to be loaded with awesome training options. But the choices out there can be really confusing for those purchasing equipment for the very first time.
